Fourth Win For Harry Lime

Harry Lime sprung back to his winning form yesterday at Fairview in a Conditions Plate over 1000m, winning comfortably by three quarters of a length from another Var gelding and Gr1 winner, Normanz.

Harry Lime is a winner of the Gr2 Umkhomazi Stakes and a son of Var out of Rattled by Alami.

Trained by Justin Snaith and owned by Fred Crabbia, Harry Lime's previous win saw him finish just ahead of Gr2 Merchants winner Brutal Force at Kenilworth and he has placed three times, recently finishing four lengths off Gulf Storm in the Gr1 Cape Flying Championship.

Sold for R350 000 at the 2013 National Yearling Sale, Harry Lime was voted KZN Breeders Outstanding 2YO Colt in 2014.

Harry Lime's second dam is the speedy sprinter-miler Rattlebag, who not only won the Gr3 Msunduzi Handicap but also placed second in the Gr1 SA Fillies Guineas.

His dam Rattled is represented at the upcoming National Yearling Sales with an outstanding filly by first season sire Eightfold Path, named Mbali. Rattled is currently in foal to Ideal World this season.
