Win For Victory Trip; Noble Tune Brother At Nationals

Victory Trip wins on the turf over 1200m at Greyville. Image: Gold Circle

Rathmor-bred juvenile filly Victory Trip got her well deserved first win at Greyville over 1200m on the turf. Her first attempt at 1200m saw her win by over a length clear on Sunday from Estemeel (Captain Al), under Eric Ngwane for the stable of Dennis Bosch and owner Mario Ferreira. She has placed three times previously from four starts.

Victory Trip has a superb damline, out of Victory Garden by Solksjaer. Victory Garden is herself a winner and has now produced two foals and two winners - her first being Visionaire colt Vee Man. She is a half-sister to South African and Dubai Gr2 winner Imbongi, as well as American winner Mahubo and Gr2 winner, Spring Garland.

Victory Garden is represented by her first son of Noble Tune at the upcoming National Yearling Sale. Consigned as Lot 243 and named Paths Of Victory, the colt is part of the first crop of Noble Tune's on sale this year. His progeny have already been snapped up at the Cape Yearling Sale and Backworth Sale - with two colts selling for R90 000 and R170 000 respectively.

This is the damline of William Longsword, Oracle News, Kelly and Victory Moon.

Noble Tune will be represented by seven lots on the National Yearling Sale, including the second foal of Gr2 winner, Hidden Beauty and Gr3 placed Awesome Beauty.
